Adding EPG Info For Local Channels?

by JamesBong00420

I'm using Vaders and TPK coupled together through Xtream-Editor and everything is starting to sync and fall into place. Now that I have a simple EPG editor, how and where can I get info for local network channels? Is this even possible? I'm trying to populate info for Cleveland/Columbus ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox stations. They stream fine, just trying to fill out my EPG and allow my DVR to record, which it can not without EPG data. Many thanks!

***Edit***
I found my solution using IPTV-EPG.com They provide a much richer guide, the user interface isn't bad once you get your bearings down, and my guide now has over 90% of it's guide info. I can't use catchup with their m3u lists, but I can now DVR what I use to need catch up for, since I now have the guide. Overall, this is the best fit for me.
Thank you for all the suggestions!

I'm watching this thread closely... I've not found a way to do this.

zap2xml lets you export data from zap2it.com. Just have the script run on a nightly basis to update epg data.

Which apps are you using to watch? It seems that different apps can get EPG data from different sources. Between different TV's I'm using a mix of 4 different apps, each with it's own quirks in regards to EPG.

...My only suggestion involves another epg editor subscription unfortunately. And that is to IPTV-EPG. It's more expensive but has a support forum where you can request channels to be added if they are not already in their database. They offer a 5 day, 50 channel free trial.

Get locals through tvheadend and combine the OTA epg from that with the epg from your iptv provider using m3u-builder.
