I used hardwired on a firetv and it’s the same shit I just want to know does it factor in the player, the service or the device itself
Wireless iptv, regardless of speed, is not a good idea. I have a FormulerZ Z7+ within ear shot of Linksys ac2600 router and it buffers alot. I've since picked up a powerline adapter. Buffering is now a mere I converted ience once an hour for about 2 seconds... I'd suggest you hardwire or powerline adapter.
*Edit for accidental auto correct profanity... Lol
Pay service Kodi Solutions tv
...BINGO!!! There's your problem. I subbed previously for a month and did not renew because of the buffering!
...BTW, i DO run my IPTV "WIRELESS" on my Shield about 15 feet from the router though a wall and do not have issues. Had Eternal for 5 months(did not renew 2 days ago) and TPK for 3 months - both very stable with minimal buffering. Also trialing Vaders all day today and it's been super stable.
ALL iptv will buffer at some point, some more than others. Any iptv seller that says there is no buffering with his service is a scammer. I have tested most of the major providers and currently use 2 of them, they all buffer to a degree. This is why you need a main provider and a back up provider.
Don't get me started with those noobs who say they don't get buffering because they use nvidia shield. These ones are the most ignorant.
Get rid of the firestick. Ditch your iptv provider for a premium iptv service and hardwire your device.
We all try to improve everything but the things we have no control over. Isp and iptv service where imo 95% of buffering is caused by.
That’s the thing there’s so many I don’t know which is the best or fastest
Eternal packages always sold out,Vader tv haven’t tried yet.The thing with Kodi is that they never have close outs meaning they have over million customers so that could be the issue
Increase your buffer size in inner portal. I’m using wireless far from router and have no buffering issues
I would dump the Stick for a decent box such as the Shield.
Are you using a pay service or free channels ? Free channels always buffer
Try changing the stream format in the app from ts to the other : m3u8.
Amazon firestick
i have tried 5 services, all of them buffer and its annoying AF.
I use helix and yeah about 30 to 40 percent of the time buffers, freezes or unavailable. This sucks because it’s an awesome service when it works and a good price. I’ve tried numerous devices, players, hardwired, wifi. I think it’s just how it is.
Thank you everyone for responding, I very much appreciate the help and the suggestions.
Someone told me that the ram plays a major part in it as well as the cpu
On Firestick better to use STB EMU.
If the buffering interval is something around 2-5 seconds, you can suspect one of these:
-Network BW bottleneck on your side
-WiFi connection is being interfered with
-Many apps installed on your stick and it is short on memory
If the interval is a bigger time range, then you need to contact your IPTV provider.
Always use a CAT6 or 7 cable line as a link between your IPTV device and your network router.
What apps are you running and what iptv service?
Ive been using vaders and helix for almost 3 months now never had a problem with buffering.
Connection is 12mbps effective. The point is what app are you using and how do you set it ;)
I currently have Kodi Solutions running on Fire TV, yea it buffers somewhat but not as much as people say. Plus, can’t beat the price. I used to have GearsTV which I paid $20 month , Mayfair guide included. By far the best iptv I’ve used, i seriously can’t remember it ever buffering and the guide was top notch. Just got a little pricey after a while.
I recommend Torpedo IPTV www.torpedoiptv.com . They are Canadian (based in Calgary, Alberta). They offer over 8000 live US and international TV channels and their streams are very stable. They also offer free trials.
I realize I'm late to this but after searching and troubleshooting all day I finally came here lol.
I have a stick, wireless and both the IPTV I've used have run flawlessly. Then I found PK and thought that's pretty great so I subbed. I can't watch ANYTHING. It buffers every channel. Nothing every plays for more than 3-4 seconds. I've spent all day tweaking, troubleshooting, etc and yet I sit here watching ID Discovery perfectly streaming through ANOTHER provider that is not PK. As I said, through Kodnd other apps/services I can watch damn near anything. But as soon as I fire up PK and try to watch ANYTHING, I can't. At all.
Has to be your IPTV provider like they suggested above. If Netflix and Hulu or YouTube works fine on your firestick then a quality fast server IPTV provider will work flawless also
Get a Mag device plugged directly into your router and your buffering issues will be reduced significantly.
I wouldn't use a firestick. Especially with wireless. You will be more likely to get buffering.
Most of these services are oversold and operating on a shoestring budget.
