Okay dont laugh, using stb emulator on the shield and for the life of me cannot figure out how to forward/rewind on demand files?
Basically any on demand movie i watch I’m stuck watching from the beginning ! Never had this issue with stb emulator on the fire tv.
Any help is appreciated!
I think this guys right below, I seem to remember trying this and it kept going back to the beginning of the films! Annoying! I'd use Smarters (although it's a different connection type)
I change the media player to Mx player when using catchup and VOD. You can change to any player you have installed on your shield
Ive searched and dont see an stbemu app. At least not in the ios store.
Yes but none allow forwarding on the native remote. You would think a top tier device would have a built in forward option at least!
Get this remote you will have all of it working. Now one issue I still face here is the color buttons like sort with fav etc. For that I simply use the application but would have liked to have it on the remote. The nvidia shield remote lacks and with the new android update they have specific pairing modes for firetv remotes. hope this helps.
Basically there is no way to do it with the standard remote. You’ll need to use a 3rd party remote, and the key mapper to setup keys that are missing.
Alternatively, you can download the stbemu remote app for your phone and use those buttons.
