Is it simply overloaded servers?
Is it simply overloaded servers?
If the provider overloads their servers end users experiencing buffering
From hanging around #smoothstreams on efnet, it's usually an ISP routing issue, as 9/10 times changing server locations fixes the issue for those having problems on the exact same server that I'm using flawlessly
It could be overloaded servers, it could be your ISP speeds there are many factors. Want to speed test from the device to get a good idea of what your upload speed looks like
From reading telegram groups because you don't reboot you're wifi router and modem every 15 minutes... also you're internet is trash....not using a NVIDIA shield...not using a VPN, throttling of ISP too
my thoughts on this and what I have done to sort out the issue.
...From the Discord channel of the service i use, 99% of the constant buffering/freezing/no service issues reported are actually device specific (older Fire Sticks). Once they are instructed to clear cache/restart device/router, etc, the problem goes away. I use a Shield and never see these problems reported for this device.
The #1 reason? It's not even a provider end issue ;)
People using wifi internet connections they simple assume are fine for IPTV because they are paying for X speed...but really aren't in terms of the stable speeds they are actually getting from their setup and what they need outside paper theory totals for a more consistent experience in particular.
Adding to the above mentioned stuff which are all true, it is not a bad idea to ask your provider about the bitrate of their channels. This way you`ll know how thick the bitrate is so how much BW you need. Also make sure your provider servers are too far away from where you are.
What are you downloading?
All Depends on 4 points
1- Your Internet connection speed
2- Your Device Speed
3- the Channel you are watching ( watching an exclusive important sport game at the same time with other million user )
4- Your iptv provider ( make sure they are not resellers , go with the real deal , streamers )
Bottom line - there are many possible reasons to why buffering happens.
Your internet (speed, routing, blocks, ect)
Your device (speed, improper software setup, malware, ect
Then there are server related reasons, oversold, too many users on at the same time, sources, ect.
You can literally have the best, most stable service in the world and some people will have buffer problems because of x reason.
