Do any LG TVs support the Smart IPTV app?

Hi all I am just wondering if any LG TVs at the moment support the Smart IPTV app as I am looking at buying a new TV but I want it to have this app available and I am looking for a TV around the size of 40-43 as it is a TV for the bedroom

I am in the UK which should not make much difference, apart from the model numbers of TVs being different and it is mainly a TV for my wife as she likes to watch loads of TV and we always buy IPTV subscriptions, and for her to have the convenience of just having to open an app on the TV would be great

If not LG I would try another brand too, I am not loyal to only one brand but it needs to be about 40-43 in size and I have a wall mount bracket which it would need to fit on which supports VESA mounts of 100x100 and 200x200

I have an lg OLED and I know the web os had the option to download smart IPTV. But I preferred perfect player

As far as I know, LG and Samsung are the only smart TV brands that offer the smart iptv app. It is available for download on the device. I have a 2014 LG smart TV with this app installed and working well. It is a €5 one-off payment after the trial period. What I would say though is that this app works slightly better on a Firestick, and gives you the portability to move the app around with you. If you want to be sure that nothing has changed you could ask for a demo in-store before committing to purchase. Hope this helps.

I have an LG webos 3 HDR 4K and i use Plex, and an IPTV plugin for plex. Streaming works just fine for me.

My OLED 2018 does have Smart IPTV app on it, but I highly prefer Smart STB.

No I had to use a amazon fire stick

I have smart iptv on my lg tv with webos 3 but i use smart stb as its better with epg and gives catch up and stuff

There's some suggestion that smart iptv has been taken down from the LG app store? I think it's gone from Amazon app store too, but is easily sideloaded. I'm sorry, I've never owned a Web os TV so don't know if or how easily apps can be sideloaded onto them. For my money, Firestick is the way to go!
