How much can you make as a reseller?

by MoorTreezDMV

How long have you been reselling and how much do you make? Can I possibly make a full time income? And how do you deal with payments every month...PayPal?

You can make a decent amount depending on the service/s being offered, and which very key point here....is rarely going to be one of the better and more reliable ones out there while still offering top notch profit margins on their credits in comparison to what people can spend choosing to simply buy direct. Hence why you generally tend to see the actual user end posters here hyping one set of providers, and the large reseller population jumping in to hype/recommend something different.

The surrounding PITA factor can be real though, and especially on the taking Paypal payments side of things. Keeping in mind that there is a lot of completely clueless customers out there when it comes to things such as recognizing a bad wifi internet connection, and who are pretty much going to win every paypal dispute they put in on you. Unless you are pushing serious enough bulk to easily absorb such loses....it's probably not worth the overall hassle imo.

I sell a few services and if I look at activity in my PayPal account for last 12 months I've probably made about as much from selling as I do from my full time job. You get out of it what you put into it timewise. If I was not working and selling a bit more it's concievable that you could make a living off it but it would be on shaky enough foundations.

Sell it in your spare time, find a decent sub at reasonable cost to yourself and sell it on reasonably as well. Build a customer base . In time it will build. But be prepared for long hours

several years ago yes but now even a teenager with a bit of IT knowledge can under cut you and before you know it the market is saturated. Look at it this way, your're not going to find many gaps in this market

My advice would be if you were to start reselling today don't look for customers online. start in your local neighbourhood and get a list of 6-7 users and if your service is decent then word will soon spread and before you know it you have 20 users. plastering your service online and asking people to PM you on every post will be draining. you will prob need over 100 users to see any decent returns. i wouldn't quit your day job over it but if it works, more power to you

There is, I believe, a side loadable YouTube app.

it can be very time consuming, especially if you sell more than one service, tech support is the most time consuming as sadly it's just like Greencon10 says, there are so many users out there that think that service should work perfectly 100% of the time, they simply don't understand that there are many, many factors on their end that will determine what quality of service they get. ultimately the better the IPTV service, the less work you do, but less profit margin too, and the cheaper ones are always dealing with some issues so that means more regular work for you. If you were selling a premium $15+ service, You would prob need more than a 1500+ regular customers for you to even consider this to be worth quitting a job for. it wouldn't be a lot, but it would likely be just enough for a single person to survive. personally, if i was doing it this, i'd rather make a little less, and do much less work by selling a well supported premium service.
