Different service, apparently similar quality Maybe some channellist difference

From what I gather it seemed one of the bigger Vader resellers (or at least one of the more vocal ones) picked it up a while back after tiring on Vader's constant server crashes and endless customer complaints (not that he'd ever admit that straight out), and then saw a few of the others follow suit. Which was probably more an indicator of Beast being fairly solid and most importantly offering a notably good profit margin on reseller credits comparable to what they were getting out of Vader (hence the primary reason why Vader got so popular with resellers in the first place).

Other then that I don't believe there is any connection. Unless maybe one of the Vader devs jumped ship to start it or something of that nature. Different channels/features, runs on Smarters, ect ect.
