How does IPTV work?

by KetchupKebab

Hi,

I'm about to buy an iptv Android Box off Amazon and am a bit a newbie.

However do I have to buy IPTV credits/ .m3u link ? Or does the IPTV come with loaded channels?

Could someone explain a bit more in details ?

I presume I can buy the .m3u link and must use it with a Streaming app (preinstalled or not), which app do you suggest ? Is there only Kodi?

Hey man welcome to IPTV

So if your buying an android box you will be able to find providers by read through this subreddit, i use helix because its cheap and works well enough for me, but they have had issues in the past etc and there are lots of providers so have a good look before you buy or maybe try a few different ones over the first few months

But as for your android box, if you get a provider that has their own app download that and away you go,

If they dont then install from the play store perfect player and then you will normally find a guide from your provider for how to set it up, but it basically involves adding the url to the m3u file and the url to the epg

Again then watch

Note of caution as your new, remember where iptv comes from and dont expect there never to be issues, sometimes channels stop working or buffer etc, for a number of reasons, providers overselling their services, source issues at the providers end, isp’s blocking services (uk especially)

Oh and dont by long subscriptions, i buy 3 months at a time because i can afford to lose that, personally i wouldnt buy any longer sub than that

If you are looking for a sub there are different services that offer different methods to watch. Some have there own apps, some use pp, some have a kodi add on. Your best bet is to try to test a few trials to see what service you prefer

Most services out there have their own standalone apk, and you can purchase your subscripion through their website, etc. But most also have the m3u link if you prefer another method. We provide both and also have a web version that can be viewed on any browser on any device! Just do your research and make sure you are paying someone reputable
