Live Channels EPG not showing

So I've just signed up to an IPTV provider and when using Live Channels on Android TV the epg doesn't show anything setting up with TVirl. Have double checked EPG url multiple times and also uninstalled/reinstalled.

Perfect Player however shows the epg with no issues.

Am I missing something with Google live channels?

Edit. Am using Australian Vodafone TV running 7.1.1

Did you check off the TVirl channels in Live Channel app settings? You have to select the TVirl group, new groups are not selected by default.

I've been having issues with this as well. I saw a guide that says to just put the m3u playlist and epg into tvirl app but tvirl app gives me an error when inputting my epg (says it's not m3u format). On Perfect Player, it has areas to enter both the playlist and epg links which works just fine.
