I had a Internet & TV package with 2 receivers costing me $138CAD (after tax) a month.
I now pay $42 after tax a month for internet and 2 subs.
Saving $96/month
€1000 per year cable v €100 per year (€25 quarterly) sub.
I save the €900 and bring my kids on holiday. Happy days
Let's see, I HAD to bundle to get the "savings" with who I'm using: cable TV, telephone, internet, all together came out to $150 USD/month. That is not including the $10.50 for the 3 tuner boxes I would need in addition to the main one that comes with the service, so could have been $160.50.
Right now I am paying $65 USD/month for internet alone (400Mbps/40), going on 6 months now. So I'm saving $95USD/month, subtract from that the Formuler Z7+ I paid $130USD at the time and the used cable modem (usually another $10USD rental fee on the bill if not on a bundle) which I paid $40USD for. So total I've saved $400 basically, I have a shit ton of more channels, I see nothing but win.
€1200 a year
In the U.K. we were paying £60 a month or so on Sky satellite tv. Currently pat £14 a month for 4 lines.
