Nvidia Shield STBemu Pro OK Button Problem

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue before but pressing 'OK / Middle' button on the Nvidia Shield TV remote doesn't bring up the setting menu on STBemu Pro. Unsure why this is happening, considering i've never had this issue previously with my Xiaomi Mi Box.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Currently, i'm having trouble changing between different profiles on STBemu without having the setting menu pop-up on the left side of the screen.

UPDATE: Seems like a problem with the latest update on STBemu. The developer is working on a fix. Many have complained on the Google App page for STBemu Pro.

Oh, well there we go. I just posted about this a few days ago and people were telling me it works for them, but I guess it really doesn't?

Good to know a fix is being worked on by the dev.

PS. the only way I have been able to get it working for myself is to uninstall and reinstall STBemu Pro again then set up everything again. What a pain.

I have this from time to time - force stop or restart Nvidia to cure it

Never had an issue with that.btw do you have an issue with aspect ratio through stbemu? I think the quality on it sucks as it doesnt have hd feature.

Does the joypad controller work for left menu ( long press A ) then see if the normal remote can close the screen

Are you using a legit version of stb emu ? You could ask the developer via google play. The only other suggestion I can give is a full power down - ie lead pulled out the back

If you have all your iptv provider details - portal , MAC address etc - I guess the only other things to try and clear cache , if no joy try clear data (this will wipe portal details) . Uninstall and try again.

On my shield i hold down the ok/middle button to bring up the menu button

Maybe it's a version issue? What version do you have?

You have to press and hold the ok button for a couple of seconds to bring up the settings menu. This is how it works on me shied.

Nwver had an issue with stbemu other than lag on scrolling through channels. But you have to hold the ok button instead of just pressing it.

This seems to be a problem with the Nvidia Shield TV 2017

I have both the 2015 & 2017 Shield TV's and this is only happening on the new 2017 model.

I have both the shield TV 2015 & 2017 models and it works fine on 2015 but the 2017 has the issue :/
