I have updated TiviMate to 1.0.5 with fix for EPG. I have tested on Helix provider, seems it works. Unlike from Live Channels, TiviMate doesn't have possibility to scroll EPG horizontally with Left/Right keys. It is quite complex task, so I have not implemented it. Maybe in the future. Instead I would like to implement a separate screen with vertical list of TV programs for the selected channel and possibility to navigate between days.

BTW, I will try to create subreddit this week, so you can post bug reports and suggestions. I will let know here.

Interface is really really nice. 2 issues I've encountered so far:

1. Helix EPG doesn't work
2. Changing playlist name doesn't work.

If EPG issue is resolved I could see myself using this as my main player.

Haven't tried this one yet (on mobile) but from the looks of it seems very promising.

My wishlist are :

• closed caption (probably it's already being implemented, hopefully)
• catchup function. I dunno if it's possible using m3u (although perfect player can by adding special character at the end of url) , you might need to implement xtream codes.
• recording option
• seperate VOD and series section, or ability to group categories, hide categories, move channel, etc.

I really like this quite a bit. However it's failing to update my EPG and I'm not sure why, I check the xmltv and it downloads find. Provider is area 51

Just tried my helix reseller, EPG won't work there either.

Buzztv: Just tried using it on my buzztv it won't accept any playlist I add :(. Unless I added it incorrectly. I was able to add a local play list but like before I still can't get the EPG to load.

Your app already has auto update, if you add Live Channels compatibility it's gonna get pretty famous (the other option is TVirl which works well but doesn't auto update, or Cumulus which is kinda terrible).

Seems like an interesting project to keep an eye on.

I tested a m3u8 playlist generated from tvheadend server, when playing back I get "An error occured, code 401".

Another suggestion is allow the input from numpad for channel changes (I have a harmony remote paired on my ShieldTV, and it allows to use the numpad for fast channel changing)

Promising app but can't get my m3u to load says error. The same m3u works with other apps. Just copy pasting it and it doesn't load. That m3u also looks like every other standard m3u line that servers provide.

I tested the program and it is even better than Live Channels. What might be needed now is Closed Captions, audio selection and automatic EPG update (if that's not implemented yet). Will look into buying the full version.

One thing that caused me a bit of trouble was adding an IPTV link that does not end in *.m3u or similar formats. I use a Pastebin raw text link that I update often, so I would like to use that instead of downloading the M3U text file every time I need to update the list.

This is only for boxes running AndroidTV? Not compatible with any of my devices. I have 2 Tanix TX3 Mini running Android 7 and a Q box too

Looks real good, very similar interface to Live Channels. Has anyone tried it with xtream-editor EPG? strangely on my guide of 500+ channels 3 have EPG information

Really Nice app! Very similar to live channels and I bought Premium to get the extra features. But! I don't see any options for subtitles. Seems like it doesn't support it? :(

I guess subtitle support isn't important in the US but it's super-important everywhere else (I'm in Europe) :)

Edit: It's not possible to sort channels in Favorites? If not; will it be possible?

i can only get the EPG to update for 3 channels (using xtream-editor) while immeadiatly after on the same device, tvirl updated all the channels. Is this a free vs paid version thing?

I see you can add multiple playlist, but can you add multiple epg’s? For example I have 2 IPTV providers, each one has a different epg. Right now one has epg working, the other is trying to use epg from the first provider.

Nice work already purchased. Only must have is hiding categories for it to be my main app. Looking forward to future updates.

I can’t figure out how to fast forward when watching on demand content. Do I need the premium version for that functionality?

Hey I’m really liking this app, could you implement a way to hide categories since there are a lot I dont use.

Great app! Just tried it today and was impressed and paid for the unlock immediately.

For me the best feature is how it handles closed captions. Just great.

Just one small issue with it. I set the text size to normal in the settings because that’s the perfect size for me. However when captions are displayed when watching channels, the text size is larger than the size displayed in the settings.

Setting the size to small in the settings results in really small text when watching actual channels.

So hopefully you can replicate this behavior and correct whatever is causing the mismatch.

U can't have 2 epg running in the program with 2 playlost or providers. Even paid will not do that. Don't waste ur money. Use the free version. I spent 10 bucks for 2 sets and can only run one if I want the epg guide. It will.list the other channels but no guide.

Does it actually provide channels to "Live Channels" app?

Set up in a few minutes on Shield. Was always pissed that Live channels was so clunky with channel groups, this sorts it out. The free version is very functional.

This definetly needs an implement xtream codes so no need for upload any m3u files etc. Please this happen :) This could come our supported player for customers ;)

Hello, any idea if the app can be used with Buck tv properly? My other 2 providers display a Playlist fine with channel groups but Buck displays them all as one full set of channels. 25000 plus is really not that convenient. Any ideas? Thx.

Anyone here have issues with adding another IPTV source + EPG in TiviMate on a Fire TV stick?

I unlocked TM Premium for additional functions and wanted to add my backup IPTV source+EPG as well, so I manually add the different URL's in both fields, but after I click done, it changes/duplicates everything I just typed in - to my 1st source+EPG URL's (???)

I tried editing, disabling, and deleting the 2nd source, but it doesn't change/do anything. It's like it's just in there for good now, where I now have my initial source+EPG added twice (??) Am I missing something?
