In most cases You won't be able to use the same Mac address as the 254 if that's what you're typing to do, so you won't be able to flip between Devices.

What's happening right now is the panel is locked to your 254. The panel knows which device is which, because the 254 is actually sending more data to the server than just the Mac address... Meaning stb emu is not a true clone.

In short, the server is taking a snapshot of the entire device during the first connection to identify the it. Mac address on its own won't do anything.

In my experience only stalker based services lock to one device. If you've not got a stalker-based sub then most likely explanation is you've made an error inputting the details. Most likely error is a space in the portal address - STBemu automatically inserts a space after any "." so portal addresses get screwed up.

Man here is the thing, you can easily clone your MAG box MAC address into STBemu and it works well with the majority of (stalker) providers, except for some providers that use the MAG serial number together with the MAC address, so in this case you have to clone your MAG box mac address and it serial number together into STBemu in other to get access to the portal.

As @stokedcrd mentioned your mag is probably locked to the panel. However did you logout/shutdown your mag before using stbemu? You'll also get that message if you use 2 devices simultaneoulsly.
