I have a subscription with hundreds of channels I have no use for and therefore would like to get rid of. Is there a way I can do this?
My setup: through pc on either VLC or Perfect Player.
Thanks in advance

The easiest way is with iptv-epg or xtream m3u editor. Both cost a few dollars but they're worth it. You can edit your m3u and if your provider has a shit epg you can clean that up as well. I prefer iptv-epg personally. I just paid for a year and it was $24.
You can edit the .m3u file in a text editor and remove the channels that you don't want.
Brother theres a free m3u editor http://www.htpcitalia.it/site/index.php/downloads/file/23-m3u-editor its been around for years and has always worked wonders. only issue is its in italian but not difficult to use to be honest
There are multiple ways you can do this, but I recommend Tantrum, since you have a PC..

just use text edit or text wrangler
Use this and you can remove what you want then download the file to use for the VLC player
Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
Went with the text editor in the end - probably the most easiest solution, although takes a hell of a long time especially if there's a lot of VOD titles and international channels involved.
The process was literally: Open m3u file with text editor > highlight channels & remove > save.
(It would've been alot easier to do had I figured out a way to sort the channels, either by group or channel name - tried with excel but that somehow corrupts the file unfortunately)
you can use xtream editor so you can try
Xtream editor offer free trial so you can enjoy free 1st then if you want think you want for more time you can pay them
Just open it in a text document, delete the channels, save as whatever.m3u as “All Files”. Then you’re good to go
I'm not sure through either of those options, I have played with Xteve setup through Plex using the m3u file, in his setup you can edit the channels as well as channel numbers etc....
