Spoofing a Mag Box

Hi I am trying to spoof my MAG Box (254w2) to run through STBEmu(Pro) on fireTV. I used wireshark to get the device_id and other detailed info.

However Despite copying mac address, Device id, device id 2, signature, hw_version I am not able to emulate the magBox. I keep getting"Please Contact Your Provider to register this Device."

One thing I have noticed is that the Sig changes with each log on of the box. Is this normal? If so then is there any point in copying it?

Also even though i Placed a device_id2, when looking at the wireshark logs of the fireTV it keeps sending Device_id for device_id2 as well? The Sig is completely different than what I put in.

Any advice on cracking this would be great. Thanks in advance!

Have fun. You can emulate with some services and some you can't. At least in my testing. One device per sub with most stalker services.

There are two fields in the database on the provider side that need to be clear. It's a method to prevent spoofing or you may get the message that the stb is damaged. It's a unique number that's generated when the box first connects to the iptv provider. Atleast thats how it works for stalker software that many iptv providers works. I need this done when I went from my mag250 hardware box to emulator on my firetv

The two fields in the database are "device_id" and "device_id2"

Do you have any subscription with your magbox ?

Check that the MAC address is uppercase/lowercase; case seems to matter for some services.
