Been bought a box and sub for Christmas. Works but curious to understand more.

I’ve been bought a ZGEMMA H.2s with a years subscription (apparently a year isn’t recommended?).

I’d just like to get some more information on what I actually have here. I get IPTV as a concept but not my specific set-up despite trying to work it out though this sub and Google.

When I’ve opened it up I’ve seen the logo OPEN ATV, something about WooshBuild and was told to log into the SMART IPTV All4One bouquet adder plug-in with a username and password I was given if that’s helpful info?

This is all I know and I can’t work out what else there is to know.

It seems great but also a bit of a mess and an almighty head fuck for someone who doesn’t know anything about this.

Off the top of my head I would say you need to press MENU button on your remote. Then using the up down left and right buttons on the remote scroll down to PLUGINS and press OK on your remote You will see a list of added plugins. Look for the one you named above (SMART IPTV All4One bouquet adder) scroll down to it and press OK. It should open and have a place where you can enter the username and password. Use the number keys on the remote to enter the username and password. By pressing the keys a different number of times changes what letter or number is selected.

For a first time user Zgemma is probably not best choice if I’m honest. You are better off with a fire stick. Very entry level IPTV device you can’t go wrong. Yes, a year Sub isn’t recommended as many providers ditch their customers when things get hot with the authorities. You might be ok but you’re really playing with fire with a year sub. I recommend monthly or at the most 3 months.

It's not recommended to pay for 12 months purely because its a crapshoot whether the service will last that long. If it's a gift then just enjoy it until it runs out and have a backup ready to go if it drops mid-term.
