Interested in how people are doing this IPTV thing, as I'm a bit of a noob...
I have 2 android openboxes with Stbemu and iptv smarters apps.
Read a few times about enigma devices, and all sorts. So was wondering how other people are set up.

Using fire tv devices , I have set up three in the house here (1 OG box, 1 OG stick and 1 2nd gen stick)
Using launcher hijack and AppStarter with PP, Netflix, Kodi &add-ons, etc on the main screen = not having to look at Amazon's promos
I probably spent less on everything than one Shield TV and I'm pretty happy about that, too. Honestly if you're not price-conscious, you probably wouldn't be here and instead be using legit (IP)TV
Vader + iptv-epg to edit my m3u and xmltv + TV Mosaic client on Fire TV with the server running on Windows 10.
Formuler Z7+ running Epicstream. Flawless so far
xTeVe + Plex
Allows me to access streams anywhere I can access Plex.
Smart IPTV app on my LG (smart) TV.
Perfect player on my Note 8
Android box is using the IPTV app , paid version, and Perfect Player as a back up.
Probably in the minority here, but I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running latest stable LibreElec [Kodi 17].
I subscribe to Epicstreams and use their m3u link with IPTV Simple Client.
Everything works great for me!
I have 1 x96 andriod box. I use perfect player and helix for live tv. For VOD I have my own plex server with 716 movies and 28 different tv series. Anyone want access to plex server all I need is a one time payment of $2400 :), servers full and I need to upgrade the hard drives. Lol.
Recently switched to the firestick 4k using iptv smarters app, very impressed with it for being a $50 device. Using emby as well for my VOD as I feel it has better support for it
I'm running IPTV on Mi box 3 - sling airtv Box - Emby server for recording and to watch on Roku. Mostly use IPTV smarters and perfect player apps
Upstairs Nvidia Shield Downstairs Tvip 605
Both is magnificent!
Mi Box with a .m3u list loaded on TVirl and using Live Channels to watch it.
Shield and fire 4k running perfect player for iptv ane kodi.
dual fire 4k's. Run great, would not be any better with a shield or any box. Only $35 each on sale, these new sticks have 4 cpu's and wireless AC so are overkill for any iptv needs. Spend your money on high speed internet and some subs.
Apple TV 4K with GSE Smart app. Plus Emby and Plex apps. Don't need anything else.
Appletv with IPlaytv app
2 Nvidia Shields. Run Kodi with 2 IPTV services and use their add-ons. Have a 3rd service as a back up using an m3u but don't really use it. Also installed TVGuideFullScreen addon so I generate my own EPG for the channels that I want. The EPG runs automatically every 2 days so the program guide is always populated.
You won’t find many in here who use Enigma2. Its probably the best way to watch IPTV in my opinion but requires a bit more effort than your typical android box or STB designed for IPTV.
MAG 256 with Epicstream (through Firefly TV) and Premium (through Bit Media)
Run openelec on a pi 2. Simple and cheap but works like a charm. Also have a shield but don't use it much.
I'm happy enough with with my Android box gives me the flexibility of using not only IPTV but Netflix, Plex, and terrarium like apps.
Enigma2's seem pretty great FOR IPTV but are harder to come across for folks outside the UK/EU
formulor z7+ wit ok2 mac hardwired to the router on 50 mb down 5 up
Intel NUC
KODI with m3u StreamCentre for live stuff (mainly sports)
Plus Radarr/Sonarr/Sabnzbd for movies/tv
Works well except for a stupid VPN issue that's frustrating.
I have an Amazon Firestick 4K downstairs running Perfect Player. Then an Amazon Firestick upstairs running the same app. They're both dangling behind the TVs. I know, I know, don't use WiFi. Stick with ethernet. For now, my house isn't wired yet. Surprisingly enough, my setup is behaving.
Hope that helps.
buzztv 3000 in my living room and dreamlink t2 in bedroom
I have Nvidia shield with stbemu paid version. Gold iptv service. Yamaha home theater receiver with Polk audio speakers. Just missing a 4k TV. Still Beautiful experience!
Shield tablet running Kodi with 3 Premium IPTV addons along with Placenta, GAIA and Neptunes Rising addons.
tonight was cool because i took the tablet out to the local bar and setup the UFC fight while hanging out with some coworkers for a few drinks. great times
Formuler Z+7 Running Jacks TV and eternal as back up
No better box for IPTV
Nvidia shield hardwired and a m3u through tvirl and sometimes use stb emu pro works like a dream. I have tried few different boxes in the past like avov, buzz, mi box etc but they have nothing on the shield.
1 Nvidia Shield TV, 3 firesticks. Each loaded with Smarters IPTV with Helix and Area 51. Also with Cyberflix. 100% perfect.
Mutant HD51 - Open ATV 6.2 running Wooshbuild infinity, DVB-S tuner for FreeSat (UK Free Channels via satellite), DVB-T tuner for Saorview (Irish Free Channels via aerial) and IPTV bouquets with full EPG populated from Xtream Editor app. Also 750GB HDD for recording and hardwired via powerline adapters.
Running dream player on 2nd/3rd TVs through firestick to "cast" channels from main box.
Raspberry Pi running OSMC and TVHeadend, running SmoothStreams through that. Have a proxy running on the Pi to supply the streams to TVH and to other devices in the house. The TVHeadend let's me record and timeshift, and there are a few good apps to use to set the recordings. It's very cool.
Enigma2 all the way :) best thing to integrate IPTV with normal dvb
Main room Vu Solo 4K, Other room: SmartTV Samsung, Phone: IPTV Pro.
Shield.
Shield + Perfect Player
Currently runnng 2 Nvidia Shields using TiviMate app loaded with 2 IPTV services.
