Smoothstreams on Firestick 4k issues

Hi there, I've run into 2 major issues with the new Fire Stick 4k and Smoothstreams.

Some channels have major video stuttering, but no audio issues like this . Apparently this is a Firestick 4k issue; something about hardware acceleration having issues. The way to resolve this problem is to turn off hardware acceleration in the Kodi settings.
Some channels have no audio, however when I play the same streams on my phone's mobile browser, they do have audio. Current examples are NBC and ABC (channels 34 and 36, respectively.) I have not been able to resolve this issue. Anyone know how to fix this?

Easy fix don't use kodi, it's shite anyway, your provider must have a another APK

the new 4k sticks are trash for IPTV. The only way to fix it is to turn off hardware acceleration, but you lose compatibility for other video streams. It seems to be an issue with encoding the video.

To fix it go into Kodi video settings and disable hardware acceleration but this fixes US streams and then breaks UK.

I've given up using smoothstreams on that stick and stick to IPTV smarters on it which works great.

I don't have problems, but I never use Kodi for SS. Either the web player from the TV or a fire stick browser, or plex (see the support forum). And the 4k fire stick is great for IPTV, people who have problems often have slow ISP or use slower wireless N or live far away from the servers. It works great with my 400 mb/s internet speed and wireless AC. You need about 50 mb/s to have good results I get like 200 so check your speed on the fire stick.
