Just curious which programs everyone prefers for watching IPTV?
I'm currently using Kodi with "PVR IPTV Simple Client" on my Nvidia Shield and either Kodi or "MyIPTV Player" on my Windows PC. I have looked around but haven't found a definitive guide yet so I apologize if it has been covered somewhere already that I haven't noticed. Maybe a stickied thread would be helpful?

Emby. It supports iptv and has a DVR built in (if you pay the $5 per month). Definitely the best out of everything I've tried when it comes to overall ease of use combined with DVR.
PerfectPlayer for Android that's what I use. Suits me fine
I've been using ProgDVB *cough* Pro on Windows for some time now, ProgTV does not work on this "version".
Perfect player is spot on and my new second favourite solar player on my phone

TVGuideFullScreen addon. You can easily assign channels if your provider has an add-on. If they don't, then just download the m3u file and assign channels from there.
MyIPTV Player Pro and Free for Android OS has the best EPG UI available much better then the competitions, fastest channel zapping even more then Perfect Player, try it :)

Perfect Player for Android for the grid view and guide and then I use IPTV-EPG.com if the guide is incomplete to get a better EPG.
