IPTV App: Solar Player

I'm not affiliated with this app, only a user, but wanted to share here for anyone looking for a beautiful IPTV app for streaming (no catchup, DVR...yet). The app does have dedicated TV and mobile UI's, also honors channel groups.

This works great on my phone and also Shield TV. The app is in early beta/alpha and the dev seems to be all over regular updates.

I searched this sub and didn't see a thread about this, but figure some of you may enjoy it as much as I have been.

Have an app you like more? I'd love to hear about it too...again, I'm not affiliated with development of this app.

This app really is coming along good, it looks sleek as hell the free version isn't crippled and the dev really takes pride in his work. I too like this app and am excited for it's future.

Hopefully someone smarter than me can help me with an issue I am having with Solar Player.

I have emailed the developer via the link on the google play store page (almost a week ago) with no response and when clicking on the link to his webpage on the google play page for his app it comes up as error 404 page not found. The app name shows its unreleased (?) but it shows up in play store normally with the option to buy, but I wont be buying if there is no support and bare minimum I can't get it working properly.

I have been using the M3U and EPG URLs from my organized channel list for my provider that I have organized on the Xtream-Editor website, without issue on several different iptv players (TVIRL/Live Channels, MyIptv Player Pro and Perfect Player).

When I enter these same URL's into Solar Player the channel lists load fine and works fine but no epg data is there, nothing at all not even no data messages its all just blank.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows how to contact the developer that would be appreciated too

Yeah i love this app..but needs the option to change channels with up and down, and subtitels..
