Why can't I get a good stream?

by TurkUgazzo

Let me pick your brains...

I bought a 2018 BuzzTv XPL3000 with Android 7.1.2 with 2GB RAM and 8GB Internal memory. I tried several IPTV resellers and found a great one linking to the Ok2 server, and I connect via hard-wire ethernet with fast internet service.

The channel selection is great with many VOD movies. But no matter what I watch, i get intermittent stutters or buffering, usually with movies.

Is this normal? Any suggestions? Help me. Cheers.

This is not normal. I just checked my ok2 server and its working fine (I use as backup). I am on 25mbps DSL and am lucky if i get a consistent 15mbps average and im using wifi. Are you using the BuzzTv app to play? I love the buzztv app, however i had issues so i now used ProgTV or PerectPlayer and it seems to be alot better? You may also want to try running a VPN to make sure your ISP isnt throttling your speed, some do this when you stream iptv.

No it's not normal, hardware is good and for HD content around 15Mbps required all the way up to 25Mbs for 4k ...Ultra HD. You might expect the odd buffering once in a while or maybe a channel thats unstable but with other options available.

Trial and error:

Make sure it's updated.

Run a speed test

Try a Trial from another provider

A quick google of your current provider yeilded more negative comments than positive for me.

Try wifi. For some reason it works better for on the buzz.

Also did you update the buzz app? Press menu and check updates when in live TV.

There's been intermittent freezing lately, last few days. From what I heard there are server upgrades going on? Seems much better today,

Are you sure you have the 2gb version?

If your box is the black & white (panda version) then you have the 1gb version of the buzztv xpl3000.

First try VPN, second turn off QOS, third try ProgTV with diff codecs. Default settings should be ok

It could be the default player.

You can change the player by going to menu then config and you will see the option to change the player. Secondary player and old player seems to work best for me

Ok2 is a low bandwidth iptv provider as far as tv goes, dont know about their vod content. My guess is their movie content is all different bitrates, lot of variables when it comes to the stuttering. Its not your box.
