I feel iptv smarters pro is one of the better ones out there for the fire stick it has a streamlined ui that's easy to use and setup, just sideload it through downloader and away you go it uses the xtream codes api so no need to configure a separate epg url. Our customers seem to get along really well with it.
An alternative to those already posted is IPTV Extreme. Free but needs sideloading.
I want an app with a good epg that is up to date, accurate and has a listing for most channels. I always go back to the APKs. I tried the branded PP but really did not understand how to work the remote well with it...perhaps there is a video for this?
Yes it is. If that's the case, then you likely have the last channel on startup option. You might not be able to add a second playlist though.
Stb emu gives the cleanest experience.
The unfriendly EPG most likely won't change! Crashes.... Hmmm try to change the decoder to a different value and put the font to large.
I have always relied on Perfect Player, but this new xciptv app is very good, still in beta testing so lots of updates, but I prefer it to the Smarters app as it is far more stable imo.
I can rebrand you and hard code you an app for your android device if you need one.

I've been really happy with KS Hosting (formally Kodi Solutions). Just a couple of hiccups that appear to be some kind of network adjustments on their end which consisted of several hours of the show repeating snippets of the contents during playback. https://www.kodisolutions.tv/clients/cart.php
I am using an older Amazon Fire 'box' and even with the low gig memory (5 gigs only) it works great. Also have slightly better than average internet, but nothing super speedy

Over the past 3 weeks I have tried a bunch of clients. Perfect Player hands down is my favorite.
Has every feature you could want and is snappy and streamlined.
