Lock MAC (since App version 2.1.25) You can lock your MAC address in application settings by using the Lock MAC button to avoid your playlist being reset by somebody else or if you shared your MAC address with some third party.
If you want to remove the PIN, just use 0000 when locking MAC address again.
Doesn't really matter they can deactivate ur m3u from the panel, so if they have ur mac or not doesn't gonna stop them if they want to cut you out from the service.
It's more for security reason some providers upload the list on their own cuz they don't want to give out their portal and risk to get their servers blocked in specific countries for example UK....
i don't know how a resseler can remember your mac address :) even if was bitter or angry against you ,
We give the option to customers, some people dont know what to do so activating for them is an option but you should also be sent m3u by your provider, and especially with smart iptv

Ive never once asked for a Mac unless they were using a Mag box. What kinda resellers are you dealing with?
I could be wrong but I thought you could lock the MAC in the app settings.
Agree though it is a pain when the provider doesn’t give you the m3u
