Prog dvb - windows - how to enable vod/catchup.

by assgravyjesus

I find prog dvb to be the best windows software for iptv. The only downside I find is that I cant figure out catchup. Vod seems to skip and freeze a lot, but I can get around that by using VLC and just searching for the file in the playlist.

Anyone have any tips for enabling catchup that works for your provider? Or any settings tweaks that help playing vod content? And yes, I know vod is an afterthought at best. I dont really use it, but would like to be able to use it seamlessly.

Any prog dvb tips, tricks or tweaks are appreciated.

Myiptv was only ok. Used on xbox. Found Kodi repositories made by my iptv providers to be better. In myiptv player, it was harder to switch between multiple providers and favourites, which is really easy on prog dvb.

Tried thumper with one of my crappier providers as i would not trust my good m3u information on a third party site. It was clunky in performance but looked like a bare bones perfect player.

I've tried lots. Prog has been the best. I dont use it on my shield though. I just feel like I could be getting more from it and would benefit from advice from those who use it.
