IPTV, will internet provide give you issues?

by sandywpskw

I have 2 IPTV providers, deciding right now if I will keep both or get rid of one. I have used IPTV for about 2 months. Just within the last few days I have had unusual amount of buffering on both iptiptviptv providersproviders, but also using our tablet for other stuff online liked watching .YouTube loading Instagram etc. Can your internet provider cause you to have insure with speed if you use IPTV? How would I know? What's the best way to figure out why we are having all these issues? Contact internet provider first to check? Or try VPN and see if it helps? What's best free VPN or very very cheap? Do you have to constantly turn VPN on if you need it and switch off,or does it run all the time? I've read it can impact internet speed, yes or no? I'm not real tech savvsavvy so need easy explanation if possible.

if it's happening with youtube as well then try this:

turn off modem for few minutes then back on then do a speed test and try iptv or youtube

if still slow then log into router and change the wifi channel from auto to either 6 or 11 to see if it's better do a speed test and try iptv or youtube

If still having issues log into router and change your dns settings to -->

to use IPTV I ALWAYS use a wired connection from modem to the device with iptv... WIFI sux with iptv imo

I always run a VPN just in case.

Internet providers can and some do throttle the speed available to streaming video. Using a VPN will normally bypass any throttling by an ISP.

However ISPs do not normally throttle big services such as Netflix or YouTube. Customers will complain if Netflix is buffering but few will call to complain if their IPTV service is buffering.

Since you are seeing buffering across the all streaming media it is likely to be an issue either with your connection or with your ISP. As multiple people have recommended, restart your router and the device you are using. Check your internet speed with speedtest.net or similar. That should either resolve the issue of provide you with information to contact your ISP.

If you are in the USA you do not need a VPN as streaming is categorically completely legal (even if still gray by copyright standards). You retain none of the data on your device and the supreme Court has ruled they temp files and cache do not constitute a copy of the data. All that said your ISP can throttle you but most do not. If you suspect throttling though a simply VPN test would let you know for sure. Most VPN drop your speed though so expect that could also play an unwanted factor in your testing

Mine got worse too, BUT I was on wifi and never use a VPN (I’m in Canada though)... I wired all my IPTV boxes and they are much better! I did also change IPTV service providers though 🤔
