I would consider another solution ... plugins are being deprecated in Plex and soon won't work at all. It's probable the plugin is broken and the developer abandoned it since there's no use anymore.
Also depending on the plugin, none of them ever had real EPG layouts (like a guide) just rows of channel icons.
Research using xteve as an IPTV proxy and watching your IPTV right in the Plex LiveTV function.
