This is kind of a general question about iptv but say I want to watch UK channels in the US. Is it better to use a vpn to connect to a UK server before launching a UK channel? Or is it better practice to use a vpn no matter what i want to watch? Thanks
Some will say you don't need use a VPN un less you need to access blocked content in your area.
Personally I dont use a VPN for IPTV at all. It is streamed content and not subject to the copyright laws, unless of course you are capturing it and rebroadcasting it.
I have to use a VPN all the time because my ISP throttles IPTV
Some providers don't let you use a VPN, check if yours allows this.
You don’t need a VPN to watch U.K. based streams from your IPTV provider.
As for always, depends on your ISP and how paranoid you are.
