Probably a dumb question...… IPTV

by ravenecw

I have been looking into this for a little bit now and think I know which one I want to try based off different things I read. I was going to do a free trial or two to finalize my decision. I have been doing DirectvNOW since they started, and although it's ok, I can't get local channels where I live (even with an OTA antenna) and would like those as well as some other channels of course. Yes I know it's not perfect etc. but I do want to try one of these other services. My question though after this long winded paragragh….. how safe is it to subscribe, even for a free trial they are asking for names etc. and I know you have to pay (with a credit card in most cases)? Is there any worry about giving your real name etc.? Sorry, I know it's probably a dumb question but wanted to ask before I dive in.... Thank you.

get an account from privacy.com and pay using it

no need to give your real name etc

You can use a fake name and address there is no verification, pay with prepaid cards, crypto, or use privacy.com.

If it's just local news you want most are free on their websites and you can watch there, on an app, or try and get the m3u from the embedded video.

I thought I remembered seeing a legit service where you could choose locals but for the life of me I cannot recall. If you want something legit and are only looking at IPTV because you want locals then I'd say get locals elsewhere. Otherwise welcome and use a fake name, email etc and enjoy.

No it's not just the locals, it's the rest too but the locals are something I would like and some of these have it that's for sure! Plus i'm sick of "searching" for things, and yes I know these could go down but i'd like to just have it and hope they are up (as most are up more than they are down of course). Thanks for your input, i'm glad I asked..... i'll check out privacy.com (never heard of it... so glad I asked...Thank you thank you!!!)
