So you have two playlists. You add them in Xtream Editor. You then create a merged list from these two. You then add that merged list as a third m3u to be able to edit groups. When this all is done:
- How do you manage EPG, which link do you put or do you have to use the built in database at that point?
- What happens when you want to merge groups? For example, merging sports channels. Do you create a new group where you move the sports channels from each one or do you use one’s existing sports group as main? Will that account for the providers channels additions or removals?
- For the live events (NBA, NFL etc.) channels, how do you deal with EPG (same as first question I guess) and how do the listings and links get updated (since these respective groups have been merged in one new)
for EPG management, i use Xtreams for everything, unless my provider has something that xtream does not recognize.
i also dont use the providers groups, i create my own ones and move/copy channels into the new group. Even though i do this, im not sure its necessary
For live events channels, EPG should be from the provider. that way when it updates, its as correct as it can be.
