Couple of questions about ordering.

by BizarreAndroid

Hey, I need to ask a question. It's alright if it can't be done but I would love to know the answer.

  1. Is it possible to replace paid channels with it links. However whilst leaving the free channels coming through the satellite. I.e. BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV 1 etc are coming through the satellite. But when you get to sky 1 or UK gold, they are replaced the the corresponding IPTV link. So your using IPTV for channels that are paid.

Also 2. Is it possible to have multiple links on the same channel. So if your first link fails then it automatically jumps to the second link meaning you'll always have a working channel (providing at least 1 of your links/providers are working.) Kinda like a failsafe system.

As I say I'm using a zgemma box and would love it if someone could shed some light on this. Even just giving me a lead onto a possible solution. Thanks in advance.

You could try using a program like E-Channelizer to make a customized bouquet with both your freeview and IPTV channels.

I use EC for IPTV only and can mix services easy enough but being in Canada I have no freeview satellite to try it with.

An Enigma box will do what you’re looking for quite simply. Mixing the best of both worlds seamlessly. Will take a bit of setting up on your part but it’s easily done.

Any of the IPTV apps out there won’t. Some of the hybrid boxes like Formuler S Mini can access Satellite fed freeview channels but you cannot merge them into a single IPTV bouquet.

Not sure on number one, number two I can answer.

Most IPTV services will have the 'main' channels set up as SD, HD, FHD + back-ups of some of those. So in essence, you'll have five/six options for one channel, if that makes sense?

The service I used is available on a Zgemma box, if you want to know more, PM me and we'll see what we can work out as a solution.
