Another thread brought up something I wasn't aware of and am actually surprised about: apparently 'some' providers do not offer bog-standard m3u8 playlists you can load into any software, and instead have you use their own proprietary app, ostensibly only available for Android platform and not iOS/PC/Mac/Linux
Note: if it's a stalker middleware provider (i.e. MAG box, StbEmu required) they don't really belong.
Area 51 was the example given, can people here please list any other providers?

Epic TV for sure. They use Ministra so it's like stalker 5.0 with a login and password rather than MAC based.
