Got myself a new z8...weirdest of issues

So, I got myself a new z8 and I have been having the weirdest of issues with it. First of, Catchu\Up sucks, I think that's been said before. Loads of buffering but then what happens is when I inevitably get bored of waiting and exit back to LIVE TV, none of the channels will play. VOD works fine but head back over to LIVE TV and nothing. I have to power down the box and leave it for while. When I come back and go straight to LIVE TV, its back up and running.

Any one experiencing similar issues?

Could try the latest beta update
Software update - type 0227 - red for beta and then click on it to install.

Have a Z8 too, can confirm I'm having the same problems with a different provider. VOD is mostly unusable, sometimes when I go to watch an episode of something it crashes the whole mytvonline app.

The z8 has a bug where a phantom stream is still playing and using bw but not being showen. When you reboot it stops that stream. They are putting out a hotfix for that in the next few days I think I found the bug on the weekend you can reproduce it by switching portals after connecting to one and watching a channel. Then connecting to another one and even exiting mol and sitting at launcher bw will still be used. Likely same thing is happening in vod the original stream you were watching in the tv area wasn't closed. You internet connection likely can't handle the 2 streams at once I know mine can't.
