Use GSE Smart IPTV, add a remote playlist, press the 3 dots next to it and sent it to Playlist Manager, then go find this playlist in Playlist Manager and you can delete whole categories, channel by channel, move channels around, etc. Once you've got it the way you like it then you export it from there and use it anywhere you want. If you want to customize it even further then I'd use Notepad++ and do it manually. Some providers have their channels show like "VIP USA Hallmark HD" and repeats "VIP USA TruTV HD", repetitive and annoying right? You can tell Notepad++ to find any "VIP USA " (space included) and delete all of them at once.
Edit: Actually I think either way I would use GSE Smart IPTV first and do any big changes there first like moving or deleting whole categories.

If it's an m3u just open it in Notepad or something. Delete what you don't want and save it.
