Recording from iptv box using mini jack

I’ve been doing this on MAG254’s using the cable that has the 1/8 plug on one end and 3 rca plugs on the other. The rca end goes into a standalone dvr and that gives me SD recordings.

I tried this on a Buzz box and was unsuccessful. I get blank video/audio.

Any more iptv boxes that this will work on? Like the newer MAGs? Others?

I use iptv smarters app on android to record to external sd card .. then you can record in full hd

If your IPTV provider allow you to and you have Windows, why don you just open the stream on PC on VLC. You can capture the stream with it.
