Graphic issue on sports

by redditfun18

Hi guys, asked this one before but got no response so hopefully one of you can help me

So using 4k stick, using 4k tv Smart stb

Got a issue when watching the football, all picture quality etc is perfect, no jumping or lag etc Although I have a issue with the ball flickering when moving at a certain speed It pretty much dissapears for a little while until the ball slows down an then is fine again

Can Anyone explain what this is or help me fix it?

Sounds like your IPTV provider is giving you low frame rate-60fps is optimal for a fast-moving Sports

30fps is causing this, your not getting 50/60 fps

Could be an interlacing issue

This is likely low frame rate at fault but also could be made worse by TV refresh rate. TVs sold in a given locale will be calibrated with an appropriate refresh rate based on the frame rate of the TV aired in the area. North America is 30/60 FPS and UK is 25/50 FPS. So if you have low frame rate that’s also out of sync with your TV refresh rate, this could explain it.

Some IPTV apps advertise the ability to do “Auto frame rate” adjustment meaning they claim to be able to instruct your TV which frame rate to use per stream. I don’t know if this works or not, but Perfect Player is one such app.

Do you have those shitty motion smoothing shit that tv companies do these days turned on.

While all the other explanation might is possible, the other explanation might be a settings on your TV itself. I saw some post relating to this sometime ago. Try disabling and enabling some settings on your TV, especially if its a 4k TV.
If not mistaken, both Lg and Samsung tv had this issue

If you have Samsung its auto motion plus setting in expert setting menu . I had same problem .

Will have a look for this setting, got a relatively new 4k LG tv will look for this setting Using the same service on my phone etc doesn’t do this so must be a tv setting Tv supports up to 60fps and settings are all set correct on the firestick so will look for the setting and let you all know

sorry for the late reply
