TnT removed soccer channels

by elmarroco

TnT has removed all channels involving Soccer (La Liga, Premier League), Any good alternatives? Please don't offer me services, just names, thanks.

gurjisolo

geez did they actually.. guess ill be looking for an alternative now also.

Damn. TNT died today. Its not much use to me anymore.

At least they were honest and didn't try to string people along.

Hopefully SS doesn't lose Sky TV.

ftso_ein

Love TNT. But I'm a hockey fan!

This will hit them hard, a lot me included only use iptv for soccer.

As long as they still have the football channel, everyone outside of US will be happy.

Flo655

Not just soccer but anything sport related. Even F1 is gone.

Blue-Thunder

They won't be the last to do so. You soccer guys are going to have to start getting private subs, none of these publicly advertising services.

kikinjohr

goodbye TNT

Legion123abc

Hmm is it sources that that are closing them down or themselves.

If many start dropping football channels, what might they end up charging as a percentage of what they do now, half? Look at where card sharing went - ca £5-10/month, now ca. £2 for the year, albeit with a very reduced set of channels. Still some good ones though!

paulie07

Anyone know of any back ups? I only have SS now.

(I know I'm going to bombarded with shills)

I'm wondering what stops other rights holders to send similar cease and desist letters? Anyone from film studios to other sporting leagues can and will probably start doing the same.

lennitard

Not the first and wont be the last. You soccer dudes are going to come up with a different plan. Welcome to the world of IPTV.

I also noticed TNT no longer has the US NBC Sports channels that carry EPL matches. They also have only 2 NBC local affiliates (NYC and LA) vs. over 100 ABC/CBS/FOX affiliates.

PuffCow

Sportsnet chans are gone too, at least the NHL network has been good for hockey games, but i need those Sportsnet chans.

Hyrule_Hyahed

Typical, I posted this a few days ago on here and got no replies. Only use tnt for football so I’ll be letting the subscription expire.

dansta31

Anyone have a recommended provider for just soccer? EPL and Champions League are my main draws

I’m sorry this happened, but I love TnT. It handles my daily needs well enough and it is cheap. If it goes to hell during football season I will change my assessment, but during the off-season it has been great. I don’t watch soccer, so that might be an issue for you, but for me it has been well worth the money. I have found their discord responsive as well. I’ll see how it performs during March Madness, but I am optimistic.

What I don't understand is if the likes of sky and bt can make iptv providers drop there channels surely they must have a way of inforcing these cease and decist orders or they know who and where they are. What is stopping these content providers from shutting down these iptv providers completely.
