Use tivimate best iptv app on firestick, needs to be sideloaded but look at r/tivimate.
Get lots of trials mate. Shoot me a pm, I’ll set you up with one. But the main thing is to get lots and lots of trials until you find one that you like.
Download the APP TiviMate, works wonders.
Then I'd recommend looking around for a sub that suits you.

Gears is pretty good. I switched to www.TVBadger.com about 6 months ago, though. I've loved it so far. Just try a few and see what works best for your needs.
For VOD I've enjoyed Morph TV.
StbEmuPro if you're going to use MAC based service

Other apps: Perfect Player, IPTV Extreme Pro, IPTV Smarters Pro
Install a VPN app if you're going to use a VPN service -- protects your IP address and helps if your ISP throttles IPTV service
