Cheaper alterantive to xtream editor?

by Tharayman

I think their service is a bit pricey, considering that people are not 100% satisfied with it.

The product they are offering is rather simple, so perhaps someone else have been able to set up shop at a lower price?

There are alternatives. But I'm not aware of any that host your lists for any cheaper. 16 euro per year is more than reasonable imo for what you get.

I'm 100% satisfied with it considering I ditched mayfair guide (which is double the price) and can now control all of my own logos and epg with the few clicks of a button for 5 cents a day per year? I have 5 IPTV providers and the accuracy of the epg and logos in addition to editing of m3u files are well worth $ 18.90 a year in my opinion.

I'll write you a script that does it for $20 and will be for unlimited use. PM me if interested.

I find their pricing extremely reasonable considering the fact they even host the playlists.

So far I've been happy with their service.

I'm developing an alternative to xtream editor. It's far to be complete, bit I already implemented an automatic logo adder (if you have a list without logo the tool will try yo add automatically all the missing logo). I will add also a private epg, automatically check if the list is updated and upload the updated list . Price will be 5 or 10 € forever (without subscription or similar things)

Are you looking to edit the m3u or create an xmltv file?

If you just want to remove categories, reorganize channels, and don't mind loading up a local m3u file (or send it to your Google Drive and access it from a GD link) then I suggest you edit the list and export it with GSE Smart IPTV. I use GSE for moving categories around and deleting. I use Notepad++ and some manual work to edit my lists further, I hate seeing VIP USA Discovery Channel HD, VIP USA Discovery Science HD, VIP USA Discovery Theater HD, etc. You get the picture, Notepad++ can find any instance of "VIP USA " and delete them all at once so I'm just left with the channel names. Pretty easy when you get the hang of it. Hell, if you want I can remove/move categories, rename channels to get rid of stuff like my example above...for...$3 bitcoin. Completely serious, I just spent $1,000 on a land survey today, my wallet hurts. xD
