IPTV service with a guide?

by IEatsThePasta

I'm new to the IPTV scene and wondering if any providers include a guide with their service? I signed up for a temp service on a particular provider that includes like 6000+ channels, but no guide and no way to tell what's currently being viewed. It's cheap, and has a lot of content for what you pay... but it's nearly useless without a way to navigate through all that and/or see what's going on (especially for programmable DVR recording, which require a guide). Anybody have suggestions on a provider that includes this, or a guide provider that targets IPTV vendors? I'm currently using Emby media server to view with. Any help appreciated... thanks!

Nvm... found what I was looking for. The provider provides a link for xmltv, which I found shortly after posting this. Apologies for jumping the gun!

Glad to hear you were able to find what you were looking for. IPTV can be a bit hectic and confusing at first, but well worth it in the end.

I use Helix and it comes with a full EPG for all 6000 plus channels

Found xtream-editor.com . I can add EPG to some channels that are not supported by my iptv server. It works on my dreamlink (like formuler z, mag). You must pay, but it gives a lot of options. You can edit groups, rename channels, add EPG, etc...
