Definitely interested in this too, I have heard of extreme-editor and iptv-epg but haven't had much luck.

The App TV Guide+ with the image of a union Jack is decent for UK content for those without an EPG.
Free IPTV is a big pain in the ass. It's hard to get the good channels and when you do, they are constantly going down and the quality and buffering issues will drive you crazy. You can get a decent IPTV sub for $5-$10 a month and it will probably have all the premium channels you want. It's well worth it in the end.
Mate, the shield outperforms the formuler boxes in every single way. Either you haven’t used one or you don’t know what your talking about. The shield has faster everything, has the best decoders built into the box and can run any Iptv app you throw at it as if it’s a native app. Like I said before that’s my opinion, however all of the above are facts. I’m a member of an Iptv website called techkings, every single day I hear people moaning how rubbish and how much they regret these formuler boxes, I was one of them. With the shield the worst we hear is, I’m having a hard time setting app x,y,z up. You get what you pay for fella
However I must admit, the epg interface does look pretty solid on the formuler box these days. Did they ever sort out the epg lag? Either way, there’s a box out there for everyone, I’m a gamer and streamer so the nvidia makes sense for me. It’s all preference really
The best EPG and best overall cable-like IPTV interface is on the Formuler z7 and z8 and the Buzz TV XPL 3000 and XPL 3900. These are dedicated boxes, but the software and remote functions will give you a really good and user-friendly cable-like experience.
