Request a password and/or MAC address change from the provider after roommate moves out. Also, if you're in the same household and on the same network, I doubt most providers would consider that sharing.

I believe most IPTV providers does not allow account sharing with other people. You can try it but it is a risk that account might be banned your provider. Just ask roommate to get their own.
