Xtream Editor - add external EPG lines?

by jazzeux

Hello all, I discovered Xtream Editor wich is a good editor for my Dreamlink (like mag) iptv. I can edit the groups and add epg on some channels, etc. I wonder if there is a way to add EPG on some channels that Xtream Editor doesn't have and that are not provided by my iptv server.

typically if you add your provider EPG URL when setting up your m3u line, it will attempt to map channels to that EPG, you can change it to the xtream epg source, but it should work with the original.

if you cant figure it out, open a ticket on the xtream editor site help section.. they are pretty quick at responding and have helped me a ton in the past on understanding how the platform works

Not to suggest you jump ship, but look into IPTV-EPG. They offer a much larger library/database of channels and if they don't have what you want, you can request in their forum and usually within 24hrs they will fulfill your request. It is a bit more per month, but in my experience, they are a better solution. I only have one channel without guide info now, and it's a sports team channel that doesn't actually exist. They just feed the games of that particular team to that channel when they play.

I think not. I use Tivimate with Xtream. It allows you to add a secondary epg source(your IPTV provider) that will fill in those channels.
