Is there a way on STBEmu to search for a movie on a firestick? The remote doesn't have the blue button that is needed.
Settings then configure keys, i set my fast forward button long press as the blue button.
Use the magic remote app. I already posted how to use it in a previous post.
I use the magic remote app with stbemu. Go to settings in stbemu > common settings > remote control setting > enter a password > I use ‘1234’ > device name in rgc settings is AFTM> open magic remote app and it should find the device > enter password and you’re connected. Coloured buttons are there to set favourites etc. To use find > hit blue > select search > when search box opens hold down button on fire remote and select keyboard.
You can go into settings and bind some buttons manually.. In my case I use a harmony remote with my nvidia shield.
But, it's certainly not intuitive. I lost many hours getting this set up properly.
It will work, but it's not fun... And for many people a proper set top box is worth it. As an emulation user, we accept the extra work and don't mind when something doesn't work properly.
