Why picture quality on smart iptv on nvidia shield is so bad ? I know shields users for long time been complaining about picture quality but seems is not fixed. Always go back to my tv,s smart iptv and cant be bother using nvidia shield for iptv when images are so washed . tiviMate is a little better quality or Twirl app but still smart iptv on my tv is the best.
I've been using IPTV for more than 3 months now and everything looks fine on my ShieldTV.. Must be cables, SW update or resolution settings..
Resolution and quality of my Shield on Sony XBR TV is amazing. Not a Shield issue.
Perhaps your Shield is setup to use a lower display resolution?
I am not shure how everyone here is saying shield is fine with image quality... on nvidia forums is a well know issue about PQ and color space switch and has not been fixed
Shield runs iptv no poor picture quality issues. Try different iptv players. Check your default media player.
I'm running Smarters pro with mx player.
I did notice poor quality video thru puffin browser. Use sideload launcher and play through chrome. No issues.
Kodi 17 has washed out picture. Kodi 18 is fine.
Make sure you are using the proper apps.
Why use the smart iptv app on your shield? Thats the issue. No need to use the mac code for your shield. There are too many 3rd party iptv apps to use. So no, its not an issue. This issue youre having is a newbie issue and others with it are newbies too. Lol
All of those apps look fine on my Shield. Maybe you need to try a higher quality HDMI cable or use a different HDMI port on your TV when connected to the Shield. I've seen cheap cables produce a washed out appearance.
