Hi there just looking for some recommendations for a mag box for the upstairs bedroom in my room, it will be connecting through wifi so just looking for some advice on what would be the best. Ive got a 256 downstairs but I notice that new models are available and was wondering what one would be the best for me.

I have the 410 and the 322w1.
I find the 410 to be the better of the two and it's android based so you can install kodi, netflix and other apps when iptv isn't enough.
If you bothered do even do a search, you'd know that mag boxes are no longer recommended as Informir is actively blocking portals.
Get a Z7 or Z8 with external antennae.
Personally I would not recommend MAG devices especially if you plan on connecting via wifi.
There's much better and less limiting devices out there for around the same price with better wifi.
I'd get a mag box and use a home plug basically not WiFi. You may need to do the firmware thing or perhaps block in firewall would work but it's the best expirence and don't forget Informir has a legal case against formula in relation to middleware
Mag gives best user expirence in my opinion, apart from that a Nvidia shield, or an enigma based boxed. Stbemu works but it's a pretty shitty experience on most boxes.

I’d skip the Mag. I have a 322W1 and the WiFi is not great. Also, they’re actively blocking some portals.
Better would be a FireTV stick if you’re limited to WiFi.
Alternatively, what about homeplug units for a wired connection?
