I use TP-Link units and they work fine. It does depend on your electrical cabling on just how well they work, though.

I personally use ASUS and TP Link, found no difference in performance. TP Link was actually easier to setup

Can't say mine done much good. If I connect direct to router I get 65mb, On wireless my firestick reports around 25mb, When I connect a powerline adaptor to firestick with an adaptor I get 28-31mb
