I recently got a new subscription for my zgemma box. Really strugggling to add epg to it- I have epg importer, crossepg both adding epg but it doesn’t materialise into information. I also have a xml.gz file from my provider which I tried to put in different files (ftp) and also on an external hard drive, nothing seems to be working.
Is there something obvious I’m doing wrong? Any help much appreciated 🙁
A guy I know created a guide and for the EPG it says:
Setting Up EPG
21. Now to configure your epg settings, from main menu select epg, and then epg importer, here enable automatic import and set the update time to run approx 15-30 mmins after the update time you set for jedimaker update. Also select clear current epg before import to yes, and press green to save.
Now press blue for sources, a window will appear listing the available epg sources. Scroll and you should see your named bouquet alias listed, select this and save to gather the Resoluted provided epg. Deselect any other unwanted epg sources and press Green to save. Now press Blue which will manually update epg.
To provide additional epg data and to potentially have more than the current day epg for the Premium UK Sports channels now activate cross epg, select configure and set download time as 15 – 30 mins after the epg importer time you have set.
Now go to Opentv providers and select sky uk opentv. Press green to save. Check XMLTV providers and ensure all are deselected. Green to save, then check Providers start order, to ensure you only have the sky uk opentv.
