I just bought a new Android TV box ( mi box S ) the main reason being IPTV,
I have tried gaztv, and quality is not as good as the ''Smart IPTV'' I was using in my Smart TV...
Can you please tell what is the best app for using the IPTV free or paid?

Perfect player or see if provider has an apk just side load I have original mi box works awesome
XCIPTV is my current favourite. Nice and fast and supports catchup if you need it.
If you like smart iptv use that for your box
I been using smaters IPTV app but using external player: mx player to view channels. It hasn't given me any problems to navigate through menu or channel lists. But I do notice a poor quality video using their built-in player. I recommend using a app that ur IPTV service provider suggest they dealt with numerous apps and know which one works better or worse with their connections to their servers. A good box helps too.

TiviMate, use it on both my Shields and love it. Has the ability to load multiple iptv subscriptions and multiple epgs. Developer is continually updating and active.
Tivimate is great but still no option for playing catchup or horizontal EPG scrolling
