HELP. New and overwhelmed.

I apologize in advance. Ok so I am new to this and I have been trying to do my research (now). So I have been doing a bunch of free trials trying to see who fits our needs. So most of the providers have used soplayer or smarters tv. We like smarters cause you can filter the channels into favorites so you don’t need to search 2000 channels, but the services haven’t been that great. The guide seems to jump around on smarters and the VOD have been lacking. The shows my wife watches aren’t in there for her (ie station 19 and bachelor) or weeks behind. Now we did use one on soplayer, guide was ok, quality was great and VOD perfect, then they up and disappeared out of nowhere. (Simply aka set). Does anyone have a recommendation for service that meets our needs? -quality service -guide -extensive up to date VOD -ability to fav channels like smarters or perfect player

I would suggest putting VOD lower on your list of priorities and checking out VOD services like TVZion, Cyberflix, Cinema HD, etc. One of those combined with a service like Real-Debrid will get you a lot better quality than any IPTV VOD service. Even if you don't end up going with that, looking into that for education purposes is a good idea.

Gears Reloaded is one of the few IPTV providers that has not just server 99.9% uptime, but 99% channel uptime as well. The channels that are segregated by country sometimes you need to use a vpn and vpn server in that country, HBO is a prime example in which you would set your vpn to anywhere in the US otherwise the channel may not (work for you). Not sure if it has the content you are are looking for. But they have hundreds of 10Gbit networks all devoted to just over 400 channels which is to say not many compete with them in terms of compute/network power on the IPTV front especially when go per channel basis. I'm just not impressed with the hockey stream (still find it laggy) but besides that and an inaccurate guide at times, it is a stellar service.
