So my mother watched local news on a specific station my whole life. They live outside the antenna reach zone but always got it thru cable. Is there a way to rip the url and add it to my m3u list? I'm using a URL sniffer addon to Firefox but when I run it thru the tester it doesn't work.
Anyone experienced this? Out of 3 local streams I only have 1. I'm wondering if the other 2 might be HLS coded or something. Any thoughts?
Link? Or channel names? With Chrome you can "Inspect" the page and navigate to Network and filter for m3u links, many times though they are ID'd for a session, so if you get the link in a browser they'll only work there for a certain amount of time. It's worth a try though, some aren't as secure and you can start deleting parts of the link and see if it works on VLC or whatever.
